Granite Pass - Mojave National Reserve

Pretty good write up on Granite Pass Here: http://www.americansouthwest.net/california/mojave/cima_amboy.html
The Elevation is 4,024 feet above sea level.... makes this a better spring/fall site than Winter. It can be Windy as heck here!
Just beyond this site is the Kelso Dunes which was formed by blowing sand from the Wind thru Granite Pass.
The large Boulders, some house sized, make some great little private camping areas. No facilities, no pit toilets, no water available, no tables, road in can be washed out at times and is always rough..... no RV's.
Hardly ever any people, on this trip I was the only person there.
